  4. Whether you know exactly what you would wish in a bespoke luxury package or prefer to explore new possibilities, South Africa offers a bounty of choices. Its many private game reserves, unsurpassed in the world, are a compelling attraction, as is the famous Kruger National Park northeast of Johannesburg.

Whilst staying at the finest lodges, guest houses or more traditional thatched or tented safari accommodations, your every need will be catered to in such a way that you feel more relaxed and renewed with each passing day. The wonder of South Africa is that, as you bask in luxury, you will awake each day to stunning natural views in truly wild settings where elephant, zebra, buffalo, springbuck, wildebeest, countless bird species and South Africa’s other flora and fauna often appear before your eyes in their unfettered beauty.

Besides Big Five game safaris, the country offers many excellent golf courses, often paired with world-class spas and recreational amenities for non-golf travel companions. In addition, adventure awaits those who love the excitement of rugged treks and coastal dives.

The Cape’s stunningly beautiful beaches are as likely to please as is the thrill of whale watching along its rugged Hermanus coast. You may also wish to sample the tastes of the Cape’s Winelands or perhaps experience the lush, subtropical valleys and dramatic Drakensberg mountain range in KwaZulu-Natal province. When you journey through South Africa's villages and cities, you will also discover ancient tribal heritage and modern urban sophistication juxtaposed in a compelling cultural tapestry. We invite you to explore these and many more possibilities with us.

  5. Best Time To Visit:

South Africa has moderate variations from place to place within a generally mild, temperate climate. If possible, foreign travelers may wish to avoid school holiday weeks, a time when South Africans travel in large numbers within the country. For optimal game viewing, the dry winter season from May through September is ideal. With foliage gone and water scarce, animals gather at watering holes each day offering excellent viewing.

Whilst the nights may bring frost, most winter days are sunny and warm enough to require only a light jacket. Spring and Autumn are ideal for golf, and the Western Cape’s beaches are at their peak in the hot summer months. For winter travellers, Durban is a delightful option for a coastal beach holiday, and cultural events and attractions are available in various places year-round. Whichever season you prefer, we will work closely with you to ensure a luxurious and rewarding South African holiday.
